YG-1 has expanded its HSS-E Combo Tap product line with the launch of the new Combo AOS Tap series with advanced HiPIMS FSH-coating technology.
Combo Tap is YG-1’s HSS-E multi-purpose tapping solution for customers machining a wide range of ductile materials across various machine tools. Building on these proven features, Combo AOS Tap incorporates advanced FSH-coating using the HiPIMS technology. The coating provides strong adhesion, high wear resistance, and a smooth surface finish, supporting longer tool life and stable tapping performance across a broad range of materials.
The series is available in both Spiral Flute and Spiral Point configurations, with DIN standards for the EMEA region, DIN-length and ANSI-shank standards for the Americas, and JIS standards for Asia, meeting the regional needs for different threading requirements.
