Chonburi Leads with the Highest Number of Industrial Factories in July 2025

The Department of Industrial Works, Ministry of Industry, has released the latest statistics on the number of industrial factories that received operating licenses nationwide in July 2025. A total of 95 factories were granted licenses, with a combined investment value of 9,354.09 million baht. Chonburi province led the pack with 15 new factory licenses.

Top 3 Provinces with the Most Factory Licenses in July 2025

1) Chonburi – 15 factories, total investment of 566.56 million baht, employing 445 workers, with a total machine capacity of 7,531.94 horsepower.

2) Pathum Thani – 9 factories, total investment of 198.06 million baht, employing 190 workers, with a total machine capacity of 8,580.29 horsepower.

3) Samut Sakhon​ – 8 factories, total investment of 419.16 million baht, employing 301 workers, with a total machine capacity of 3,216.01 horsepower.

When considering only provinces with the highest increase in total industrial investment, the top three are: Phetchabun ​(4,628.65 million baht), followed by Pathum Thani​ (657.60 million baht) and Samut Prakarn ​(583.43​ million baht).

These statistics reflect the growing industrial development and investment in these key provinces, showcasing their importance in Thailand's industrial landscape.
